Asia Argento

I was very excited today to see Asia Argento, a huge inspiration on me, tweet me representing my music! For those of you who don’t know, Asia Argento is a very famous Italian actress, director and model, and she’s the daughter of one of my favorite filmmakers in the world: Dario Argento. You may know her from domestic films such as xXx and Land of the Dead, but I personally am a bigger fan of her foreign work. She was kind enough to let me mail her some of my stuff and I’m humbled to see one of the most beautiful people in the world holding my vinyl. Thank you, Asia.

P.O.S. Needs a New Kidney Benefit

On January 5th I’ll be part of a benefit show for P.O.S. For those of you who aren’t aware, P.O.S. is in need of kidney dialysis and hopefully this show can help him to afford that.
Grieves, Grayskul, and Th3rdz will also be performing. Hope to see you there.

Micheal

Two years ago today marks the day that I lost my friend Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen. In honor of this, I’ve released the first song and video from my upcoming album Flowers for My Father. It’s called “Micheal.” For obvious reasons this one means a lot to me, so I hope you like it. I’d also like to note that there is a PayPal button for any donations to Eyedea’s mother if you feel inclined. Thank you.

Virginia Woolf

A few weeks ago I announced on my that I would be releasing a free songs for the fans. After a small delay, here is the song: Virginia Woolf.

Since Flowers for My Father is nearly complete, I wanted to make something for the fans as a sign of gratitude for being so patient. This isn’t a song that was cut from a project or anything like that, it was made for the sole purpose of giving it away. I contacted my friend Andreikelos from Equinox Records and he produced the song for me and my new friend Shawn Coss was kind enough to create this original piece of art to accompany it.

For those of you who aren’t familiar, Virginia Woolf was a very famous writer from the early 1900s who ended up committing suicide by putting rocks in her dress and walking into the ocean. I always thought this was morbidly poetic and I even found myself really inspired after reading the letter she left behind for her husband, so I decided to write a song about it. I really hope you guys like it. Feel free to download it for free and share with your friends. Thanks.
